We are a string quartet made up of music teachers who work in the western Chicago suburbs.
We perform string quartet repertoire throughout the greater Chicago area. Future performances are posted above. We also are for hire.
We perform at weddings, receptions, private events, and more! To discuss the possibility of having our string quartet play at your event, email info@jansobieskistringquartet.com and we will contact you. Please include as much information about the event as possible at this point. We are happy to travel to your event location anywhere in Downtown Chicago or the Chicago suburbs, and we are happy to discuss events in the greater Northeastern Illinois area.
Jan Sobieski was a Polish monarch, known for saving Vienna from a Turkish invasion. He was also said to have been the recipient of the very first bagel. (See his Wikipedia article.)
